“As in life, every experience is enhanced when there is a story and truth behind it; why would this be any different with our food.” - The Three Farmers Family

If you’ve been in a grocery store in the last few years (or if you watch Dragons' Den), chances are you’re already familiar with the brand, Three Farmers.

Founded in 2011, Three Farmers is a Saskatchewan-based company that creates healthy food products with prairie-grown ingredients. They connect farmers to consumers by bringing their sustainable, quality products to the marketplace and tracing each bottle or bag directly back to the field and farmer who produced it.

In celebration of Ag Month in Saskatchewan, I recently met up with Natasha Vandenhurk and Elysia Vandenhurk, two daughters of Dan Vandenhurk (one of the “three farmers”) who helped turn a curling rink conversation into one of Saskatchewan’s most successful food brands.
