Below are the 11 most “liked" Instagram photos from the year.
I was driving home the other day and I noticed a car pulled over with its hazard lights on. As I got closer I realized they had blown a tire, so I pulled up behind them and got out to see if everything was ok. As I walked up to the car, a very confused passenger stepped out to greet me. "How did you find us?" she said, "Where did you come from? How did you get here so fast?" I had no idea why she was expecting me and I can honestly say that for a solid 60 seconds, I have never been so confused in my life, but then it dawned on me. I drive a vehicle covered in CAA decals.
Nearly 5 years ago, I asked a friend for advice about a big decision in my life. I wanted to quit my job and go traveling, but I was scared to go through with it because I had never experienced life so far from home, and I didn't know what I would do for work when I came back. Here is the advice he gave me that inspired me to pack my suitcase and dive headfirst into the unknown: "You don't have to see the whole staircase, you just have to take the first step." . (Lucky for us, at Cochin, we can see the whole staircase and I promise you, the view at the top is well worth the climb.) #ExploreSask
For some people it’s difficult to go on a trip without a plan. To just hop in the car with no destination in mind and see where you end up. This week I went on a bit of a farewell road trip. I had nowhere specific to be and I wasn’t in a hurry to get there. . For me, those are the best days. The days spent truly wandering. #ExploreSask
Guess what!? This beautiful relationship we’ve built doesn't have to end with the completion of my Saskatchewanderer term!
