Zane shared his experiences through videos, photos and written posts. We want you to do just that. But we want you to find new people, new businesses and new spots to satisfy those suffering from a little Saskatchewanderlust.

The diversity of the people in the Government of Saskatchewan is one of its greatest strengths. Managing diversity successfully means creating an environment that values and uses the contributions of people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.

Diversity refers to all of the characteristics that make individuals different from each other. These differences can include factors such as race, ethnicity, gender, or having a disability.

Our province is becoming more diverse with more people from around the world moving here. As well, Aboriginal youth are the fastest growing demographic in the province. At the same time, more persons with a disability are moving into the workforce and contributing to our growing province.

It is important that the Government of Saskatchewan reflects the diversity found in our province and that our policies, programs and frontline services are responsive and relevant to the people of the province.

In your video (2 minutes or less!), show us what makes you the best potential Saskatchewanderer. The video is important, outstanding videos usually lead to interviews.  And don’t forget to indicate in your resume where you have acquired your knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully carry out the role of the Saskatchewanderer.

Once we’ve reviewed the applications, we’ll create our interview shortlist. When the interview process is complete, we will contact and later announce the successful candidate.
