My new friend, Jonathan Pasap from White Bear First Nations, introduced me to his relative, Amos McArthur, for a very special visit to the medicine wheel at the Pheasant Rump Nakota Nation. Saskatchewan is such a friendly place; I love it!
Be prepared to soak up the breath-taking vistas on your journey to the top of the hill with your medicine wheel guide. Amos is passionate about his community and its youth, and he shares his culture with open arms for visitors who are interested in exploring the rich history of this sacred place.
To arrange your visit:
- Call Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation Administration (306) 462-2002.
- Request a tour of the medicine wheel, leave your name and number and someone will connect with you to set up a tour.
Special thanks to Amos and the Pheasant Rump First Nation for inviting the Saskatchewanderer followers and me to experience this profoundly significant and sacred place.
