Born in Groot-Zundert in the Netherlands, Vincent van Gogh is one of the most famous artists of all time. His sunflowers are iconic, his cut-off ear was a legendary tale and yet, during van Gogh's lifetime, he was an obscure and little-know artist.
Now Saskatchewan has an incredible opportunity to immerse into van Gogh's creative universe, in a way even the painter himself could never have imagined.
Accompanied by the music of the great composers Saint-Saëns, Mozart, Bach, Delibes and Satie and using 3D mapping technology, you can admire iconic paintings like Starry Night, Irises and Sunflowers or be drawn into the intimacy of his bedroom in Arles.
I have never seen art and music together in this context, what a total journey of the senses.
